There is: a Murder of Crows, Charm of Finches and a Smack of Jellyfish, but none to be found for Octopus...very peculiar.
I find them to be endlessly fascinating because of their intelligence, grace, elusiveness but what it was originally that caught my fancy was that I read that they collect shiny treasures from the ocean floor and use them to decorate their caves. This is how The Beatles, Octopus's Garden was penned. Apparently, when Ringo Starr heard that they spend their days collecting shiny objects at the bottom of the sea, he allegedly said it was one of the happiest things he had ever heard, which in turn was the impetus for the song http://www.beatlesbible.com/songs/octopuss-garden/.
